- Do the instructors actively compete in the disciplines they teach, always testing and improving their skills against the best?
- Does the gym offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced level classes?
- Does the gym offer members a structured method for improvement, offering rewards for milestones achieved.
- Does the gym actively compete in competitions and tournaments as a team?
- Does the gym offer enough classes on enough days to accommodate your schedule?
- Does the gym have a professional strength and conditioning program?
- Does the gym offer fighters enough opportunities to get professional and amateur fights? Does the gym have the connections to help you achieve your dreams in the sport?
- Does the gym have a management team behind them to get you contracts with the biggest promotions in the world, such as Strikeforce, UFC, and Bellator?
- Do the owners and instructors work part-time at the gym and have other jobs or is running a gym their full-time jobs?
